Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings as eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
Prayer is the 'engine room' of our life, and our day is punctuated by our prayer together. Through an openness in prayer, we seek to find God present in our life and world.
And so it is through prayer that we come to live something of the power of love with its innate capacity to shift the balance between good and evil. We learn to understand prayer as a potent force, a passion of being, moving in minds and hearts and hands...the mystery of God.
prayer and liturgy are
essential to our life as Canonesses.
Our liturgy tries to be inviting and creative,
open and accessible,
focussed on the participation of
all the people present
and on what is happening in the world.
