
Our 370th Anniversary
On the evening of the 7th October 2012, the Community launched the celebration of 370 years since the Foundation.
Over 300 people - Old Fishes, staff, Community and friends - met at New Hall and enjoyed afternoon tea and speeches to open our 370th year, the launch of Fishy Tales and our new Exhibition.
Fishy Tales - Living Memories of New Hall 1930 - 3012, was launched on 7th October 2012 and is now available to buy via our SHOP or by phoning 01206 867296.
The Exhibition celebrating our History and our Present, a touring exhibition charting the journey of the Community 'From then till now...' was on show at Brentwood cathedral on 27th October 2012, and at Colchester, Castle Methodist Church on 1st/2nd March 2013.
A Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, took place 14th to 21st February 2013 and the Musical Event, a 'come and sing' day at New Hall on 9th March 2013, featured the Fauré Requiem.
'Living Easter' with Tina Beattie took place on 14th April 2013.
