This, the third and last of Mary Stephen's three exhibitions, began with Midday prayer and concluded after Evening prayer at 7.30 p.m.

Many people from the neighbourhood and from far afield came to see the pictures and to meet all the members of the Community. The church, being spacious and full of light, showed off the paintings to their full adantage.

During the afternoon there was tea in the church hall and many visitors renewed aquaintances or got to know new people, served by 'waiters and waitresses' from among the young people on the Melbourne estate.
